- Jobi Halper’s diverse legal background offers invaluable insights into resolution of complex and class action cases. Ms. Halper worked with a broad range of clients working for King & Spalding, as a partner for Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach (now Coughlin, Stoia, Geller. Rudman & Robbins, LLP), for a small boutique firm that represented plaintiffs and defendants, and in her own law firm, JoBeth Halper Litigation Group, PC. Ms. Halper has represented clients in mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings, other secured transactions and internet usage issues. She represented defendants and plaintiffs in a multitude of business matters, including contract disputes, partnership and corporate disputes, insurance litigation, fraud claims, consumer claims, and employment claims, including discrimination and wage/hour issues. However, Ms. Halper is nationally known for class action and complex litigation, where she has served as lead counsel in numerous cases involving consumer, contract, fraud, and insurance (life, health, automobile, homeowner and disability sales practice and coverage) issues, and represented corporations in wage/hour disputes and entertainment class action cases.
Ms. Halper also taught partnership and agency law at California Western School of Law and spoke to the
